Sister Act the Musical at the Bournemouth Pavilion
Posted on
The brand new production of the Broadway and UK award winning musical Sister Act has hit the Bournemouth Pavilion and it’s definitely a show you shouldn’t miss!
Disco diva Deloris (Landi Oshinowo) witnesses a murder and is placed in protective custody in a convent - because surely no one would think to look for her there? That is until she starts singing with the choir and they become a huge hit within the community.
Landi has THE most incredible angelic voice, one that you could sit and listen to for hours on end. When the choir have found their true voices they come together in harmony and it’s simply stunning. The whole cast is incredible, not just for the witty moments but also for their singing and dancing, of which there is plenty. The use of set changes transports you to different locations and the whole show was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.
If you’re thinking of going then I can highly recommend it! The performance makes you feel good and highlights the importance of friendship and sisterhood. It is a show full of energy and laughter with masses of sequins and show stopping music that will bring a smile to your face.
Sister Act is on in Bournemouth until Saturday 24th August 2024. For more information and tickets, please visit the Bournemouth Pavilion.
