LOCAL CHILDREN'S CENTRE'S
Children's Centres offer support, guidance and fun activities for families and carers of children under 5 and for children under 7 where there are specific needs. Every centre will offer a warm welcome and also provide valuable information, family support, employment advice and family learning opportunities. Groups and support will vary between Children's Centre's because needs and communities vary greatly.
Some of the groups and classes include childminder and young parents sessions, under 1's, twins, SEN (special education needs), stay and play, messy play, Dads club, baby massage, breastfeeding support and ante natal groups.
Some groups may ask for a small fee or donation, however this is minimal considering the amount of time and effort that the staff and volunteers put in. Please contact your local Centre below to find out what's going on near you.
