  1. The Baddies is a funny, wholesome show, which is full of energy from start to finish.

The Baddies just love being bad, but are they any good at it?  After an introduction with Mama Mouse and her mischievous little mice, she settles them down for a bedtime story.  She tells them of a girl who comes to live in a charming house in the middle of nowhere but she doesn’t know that The Baddies reside near and they want to scare her away.  The Baddies are a terrible trio made up of a not so terrifying troll, a silly ghost and witch who needs to practice her spells.  Mama Mouse challenges The Baddies to steal the young girls handkerchief but she proves that kindness is the key to success.

This is a brilliant adaption of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's latest smash-hit story.  Thoroughly entertaining for any age with plenty of laughs, catchy songs and audience participation.

The small cast are very professional and likeable but Mama Mouse steals the show with her incredible voice and stage presence.

My daughter is 8 and like me she thoroughly enjoyed it and by the end we were cuddled up together almost asleep, not from boredom but because we felt we were being read the best bedtime story ever!

The running time for The Baddies is one hour long with no interval so it’s suitable for younger children.

The show is on in Poole on Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th February. For more information and tickets, please visit the Lighthouse Poole.
