PUMPKIN PICKING PATCHES
Pumpkin picking has become a fun Halloween tradition with many families. Some farms offer free entry and just pay for what you pick while others have an entry fee and activities for the children to enjoy. Top tips: Wear wellies if it’s been raining and put a sheet or sack in the boot of the car in case the pumpkin is muddy.

DEWFLOCK FARM
Info: Children can enjoy a maze, straw play, bouncy castle, pumpkin carving, creative zone, pig feeding and meeting the animals which include small furries, donkeys, goats, lambs and alpacas. Further activities which are available at an additional charge include the Mini Landrovers or pop into The Pig Shed Cafe for coffee and treats.

PICKING PATCH
Info: The Picking Patch has over 20 varieties of pumpkins to choose from in the field. Additional activities include arts & crafts, Halloween barrel train, murder mystery maze and twilight maze, escape room and plenty of fun photo spots!

FARMER PALMERS
Info: If you’re planning a fun day at Farmer Palmers during half term then you have the added bonus of booking for children to pick a pumpkin to take home. The farm will have a spooky makeover plus you can enjoy ‘Soak-a-Spook’ tractor rides, Witches Races and the Spooky Maize Maze.
