Tabby Terrace Cat Cafe in Dorchester

During October half term we visited the recently opened Tabby Terrace in Dorchester and played with 3 gorgeously energetic kittens.

The cat café is located in the centre of town and has a plenty of tables and a big bay window which is where we sat for the duration of our session time.

The 3 kittens are called Bubble, Squeak and Beanz and my daughter was super excited to play with them all.  Whilst we ordered some tea and hot chocolates my daughter had caught the attention of Squeak and this one became a clear favourite.  We found some toys which Squeak absolutely loved playing with on the cat tower.  The cats would play with each other and then bounce away to play with customers and occasionally just chill out whilst recharging their batteries.

The menu has reasonably priced light bites which includes breakfast baps, paninis, pasta, plus cakes, hot and cold drinks.

There is a toilet upstairs and plenty of space to move around downstairs if you want to get up and go in search of the kitties.  And you don’t need to worry about the cats being need the food prep area as this is enclosed so they can’t get in.

We had a lovely relaxing time there, the cafe has funky cat themed décor, the staff are very friendly and I hope everyone enjoys it there as much as we did.

There is a £2.50 per person table fee and this goes towards caring for the cats, feeding and vets bills.

Tabby Terrace can be found in Antelope Walk and booking is highly recommended if you are after a specific day or time.  For more information, please visit Tabby Terrace on Facebook.
